What Is the World's Toughest Row?

The World’s Toughest Row is an unsupported, human-powered race across the Atlantic Ocean. Teams row 3,000 miles from La Gomera to Antigua, facing 40ft waves, extreme heat, and relentless fatigue.

With no engine, no sails, and no outside help, crews row in two-hour shifts, 24/7, battling sleep deprivation, salt sores, and the physical toll of continuous rowing. Navigation, food, and survival are entirely in their hands.

The challenge is as much mental as it is physical. The race demands endurance, resilience, and teamwork—only those who keep going will make it to the other side.
