A huge thank you to Queen Victoria School (QVS)—the school Rhys attended—for their incredible support in our fundraising efforts. The pupils organized a Valentine’s cookie sale, turning sweet treats into meaningful contributions and raising an amazing £300 for our cause. Special thanks to Mrs. Crozier, who generously purchased all the cookies upfront, ensuring the event's success. Your support from the QVS community means so much—every effort brings us one step closer to the start line.

Give Us A Wave Dinner Dance, Bristol
The Give Us A Wave dinner dance held in Bristol on 12th October 2024 was a huge success! The crew managed to raise a brilliant £5,574.75!!! Thank you to everyone involved in this event, from the DoubleTree by Hilton Bristol North Hotel, to the amazing prize donations for the raffle, to the band, The Wild Sons, to all who bought tickets to the raffle, and of course, to everyone who was able to join GUAW on the night and join in with the evening - you are all brilliant!
Cami de Cavalls 185km Hike, Menorca
The parents of Give Us A Wave crew member Rhys live out in beautiful Menorca, and his Mum, Leona, completed walking the Cami de Cavalls in December 2024. This historic trail, which circles the island of Menorca spans roughly 185km (115 miles). Leona, alongside friends, took on this physical challenge in the rain, wind and sunshine. They completed it in 8 days with determination and perseverance to their commitment to help support and raise funds for Give Us A Wave. The girls raised a total of £2,451!
